Join Jacques Brunvil for an overview of the different free programs and services for entrepreneurs at all stages. Whether you're just starting out, looking to grow, or seeking guidance to operate more effectively, SBS has the resources to support you.

About the Presenters:

Jacques Brunvil helps drive small business success across New York City through his work at The NYC Department of Small Business Services. He connects entrepreneurs with the tools and programs they need to build strong, sustainable businesses- at no cost. He has also served as a judge in the last two StartUP! Business Plan competitions and other small business plan competitions around the city. With deep experience in both strategy and practice, Jacques is committed to making entrepreneurship more accessible and equitable across New York City.

Teresa Mettela connects small business owners across the city with free services through high-impact outreach events. She also helps foster and maintain relationships with local economic development and community-based organizations. Teresa previously worked as a breaking news reporter at local and national news outlets, including ABC News, The Wall Street Journal, and The Nation. Her background in journalism and editorial strategy informs her work at NYC Small Business Services to build a fairer economy in neighborhoods across the five boroughs.
