What ages is this class suitable for?

Accepted Answer

This class is suitable for participants ages 16+.  Younger participants aged 11-15 are welcome with an accompanying adult so long as they're able to follow instructions and work with hand tools safely.

Question 2

Do I need to sign a liability waiver?

Accepted Answer

All visitors coming to Open Workshops for the first time must sign a liability waiver prior to entering the shop.  Attendees under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Question 3

What if I'm new to the subject?

Accepted Answer

Not a problem!  We'll start from the basics and work up so you understand the process of sculpting with foam.

How does the reduced-price registration work?

Accepted Answer

We’re happy to be able to offer a reduced-price tuition program, with the balance of the tuition paid by a generous grant from the Lei and Chen Family Foundation.

What if I'm not artistic?

Accepted Answer

Hogwash! Everyone has the ability to express themselves artistically - sometimes all you need is permission to do it however you desire, and this workshop will give you that. If you need help picking a subject, though, we're happy to help with that!

Do I need to bring any tools or supplies?

Accepted Answer

Nope - registration includes all required tools and supplies for this workshop. All you need to bring is yourself!
