This is an entry level shotgun class and is ideal for those with little or no shotgun experience.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • Safe firearm handling in the home and field
  • various types of shotguns
  • the different gauges of shotguns
  • the differences in shotgun ammunition
  • how choke affects the shotguns performance
  • selection of shot size for game to be hunted
  • shotgun maintenance

All firearms and ammunition will be provided as will shooting glasses and ear protection.

Minimum age is 12 years old to participate in the live fire portion of the class. Participants between 12 and 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult during the class.
