Introduction to Reflective Supervision Practice

Date: Friday, May 30, 2025

Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Location: Nazareth University

Imagine a supervision model that is relationship-based, trauma-informed, practices cultural humility, and is developmentally centered while also integrating your personal and professional self. During this six-hour presentation, you will learn about Infant and Early Childhood mental health basic beliefs and principles as it sets the foundation for reflective supervision practice. We will provide an introduction to Reflective Supervision and analyze the Reflective Interaction Observation Scale, a reflective supervision guide and tool. There will be a live demonstration of a reflective supervision fishbowl which involves observing an example of reflective consultation and intermittently engaging in group discussion to reflect on your own thoughts and experience in the moment.
