Introduction to Paper-making

This class covers the main techniques of paper-making, starting with how to prepare the paper vat and pull a sheet of paper. Coloring the paper and adding inclusions are the next steps, and you shall be given some ideas for applications for the hand-pulled paper you make in class.

Seats are limited and booked on a first-come, first-reserve basis. Besides an auto-generated email receipt, you will receive a confirmation email from the Director of Education and Artist Services, Pamela Weichmann. CANCELATION POLICY: Refunds are eligible up to one week before the beginning of the workshop. After this time, workshop fees are non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment. If cancellation occurs, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment. We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment; otherwise, it will be considered a no-show, except in the case of illness. Are you feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19?
