Join us for the first Natural Dye Workshop in our 2025 Natural Dye Series with fibers artist Madelaine Corbin!

Location: Pine Meadow Ranch Center for Arts & Agriculture
Explore the natural dyes blooming at Pine Meadow Ranch! Using pre-mordanted fibers, this workshop will focus on the basics of natural dyes and the ecstatic magic of plant-based color. Participants will leave with one finished textile and a natural dye journal.
Workshop Higlights:
- From Harvest to Dye: Participants will engage in hands on lessons about dye plant harvesting, building dye pots and coaxing color from plants.
- Document & Experiment: Participants will receive a natural dye journal to document their workshop experiments. Their swatch books will document the relationships between the dyes and the plant and animal fibers.
All materials will be provided.
No natural dye experience required.
For ages 16 and older. Those under age 16 may attend accompanied by an adult.
About the Instructor:
Madelaine Corbin is a textile artist who has been working with natural dyes for more than 10 years. Her studies around the world have informed her practice and the classes she teaches in fiber, dyeing, and textile construction methods. Madelaine’s work has been supported by residencies across the United States and around the world. Her projects take the form of physical artworks, writing, and her collaborative textile and furniture studio in Philomath, Oregon called OMNIBLOOM.
Cancellation Policy
- $20 cancellation fee
- 0% refund for cancellations less than 1 week before the workshop
- 50% refund for cancellations 7-14 days prior
- Full refunds will be provided if PMRCAA cancels the event due to inclement weather or if an instructor is unavailable.
