Introduction to Music Production & Beatmaking

By Jake Schlueter/Gert Dog Studios

Overview

Drop beats, pour wine, and learn the basics of music production with a Berklee master at the helm.

Ready to tap into your inner producer? Join us for a hands-on music production and beatmaking workshop led by a Berklee Master's Grad and professional music producer!

Using GarageBand, you'll learn how to build your own beats from scratch—exploring rhythm, loops, layering, and basic mixing techniques. All you need is a Mac (GarageBand pre-installed), and we’ll provide the rest: expert guidance, creative inspiration, and a supportive space to explore your sound.

And of course, enjoy a glass of incredible wine from NW Manzanita’s curated selection—because great beats pair well with great pours. First glass of wine is included!
