Introduction to Mosaic: Mixed Media Window

Introduction to Mosaic: Mixed Media Window

By Pilchuck Glass School

Overview

Learn the basics of mosaic by customizing your very own window design

All skill levels welcome! In this course you'll learn how to use cutting tools and two different adhesives/techniques in addition to combining glass and tile effectively in mosaic. Students will customize their window design, choose from a selection of glass and tile, alter/arrange pieces on a template, mix/apply mortar, and finally set their mosaic into mortar on a lightweight backer board.
