Description
Timofey Skvortsov (Queen's University Belfast) will host this QUB and CLIMB joint workshop that will be held in the Teaching Room 1 of the Medical Biology Building at the Queen's University Belfast.
The event will feature lectures from Mark Pallen (MRC-CLIMB and Quadram Institute Bioscience), Tom Connor (MRC-CLIMB, Quadram Institute Bioscience and Cardiff University) and Andy Millard (MRC-CLIMB and University of Leicester).
The programme will include three sessions:
Session 1
An introduction to Unix, the command line and cloud computing on CLIMB
Mark Pallen, Quadram Institute, Norwich
Session 2
Genomic analysis of clinical microbiological samples
Tom Connor, University of Cardiff and Quadram Institute, Norwich
Session 3
Metagenomics of Clinical Samples
Andrew Millard, University of Leicester
