Learn to Play Mahjong!

Come join us at Roasted Elements for a fun-filled afternoon of learning how to play the ancient game of Mahjong! In this small group, beginner-friendly lesson, you'll learn the fundamentals of American Mahjong. We will walk you through the Charleston, how to read the National Mahjong League Card (NMJL) Card, and the steps to creating a winning hand. Come ready to learn, have fun, and discover why Mahjong will be your new favorite hobby!

No experience or equipment needed. We will provide all game materials for use during the lesson and instruction guides to take home.

Important things to note:

• Arrive up to a half hour prior to the event to get your drink and get settled. We will start promptly at 1pm.
• Ticket includes one drink. Snacks are available for purchase. No outside food or beverages allowed.
• All ticket sales are final. Tickets are transferrable to another player, let us know the name of your replacement if you are unable to come.
• Only tickets sold through Eventbrite will be honored.
