About the instructor: Mae Chester is a fourth-generation weaver who has been doing many different forms of fiber-related arts since childhood. She studied textile design at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and worked in the industry for 10 years before moving to California to raise a family. A member of the Southern California Handweavers Guild, she frequently teaches workshops at Remainders in Pasadena.
