Join us on Friday, May 30 for a Lunch and Learn event cohosted by Complete Genomics and the Genomics Core at IIGB, featuring an exclusive talk by Dr. Hugo Kim, a leading voice in spinal cord injury and other neuroinjury models.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Hugo Kim (UCSD)
Talk Title: “Understanding Distance Based Cell-to-Cell Interaction after Spinal Cord Injury”
Spinal cord injury (SCI) initiates complex molecular and cellular responses that propagate radially from the injury site through dynamic cell-to-cell interactions. By applying high-resolution Stereo-seq spatial transcriptomics combined with immunostaining, we uncovered the spatial organization and progression of these interactions, revealing how local injury signals influence surrounding tissue.
2nd Speaker: Andrew Kebbel – Complete Genomics
Talk Title: "Exploring DNBseq and STOmics Spatial Biology with Applications from the Field"
This presentation highlights DNBSEQ technology and STOmics Stereo-seq with case studies with plant and animal tissues.
Pizza and refreshments will be included for this lunchtime event - come mingle!
Dive into the world of DNBSEQ and STOmics Spatial Biology at University of California, Riverside. During this informative session, you'll learn about the latest trends and technologies in genomics and spatial biology. Ask questions and get insights from experts in the field and discover the exciting opportunities these cutting-edge tools offer for research and beyond.
Don't miss out on this chance to expand your knowledge and network with other researchers. See you there!
