About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours 30 minutes

De-escalation skills are increasingly important for public service front-line staff. These skills have proven helpful to many of our clients, including police departments, public health staff, Human Resources departments, and public service agencies.

In this half day training, participants will learn about the escalation of conflict, how to prevent it, and how to respond in difficult workplace and public interactions. DSC’s interactive training teaches the theory and skills needed for the de-escalation of difficult situations.
