In this one-hour introduction, Matthew Boyd, C.Ht, guides you through essential practices (Lectio/meditative scripture, breath prayer, silent contemplation) and the energetic posture that opens the soul to grace.

For centuries, Christian mystics have described a way of knowing God that goes beyond concepts—simple, interior, and luminous. This evening is your doorway into that living stream.

You’ll learn how to:

• Quiet the mind and rest in prayer of the heart (hesychasm/“be still and know”)
• Use breath prayer and a sacred word to slip into silence
• Hold an energetic posture of humility, receptivity, and love
• Integrate mystical practice with daily life—clarity, compassion, courage
