About this Event
CHARACTER COUNTS! is a leading character development initiative that has impacted schools and communities for decades. In this live online series (two sessions), participants will learn more about CHARACTER COUNTS! and why character development matters for academic success and social/emotional growth. Moreover, our master trainer will lead discussion on how to implement a CHARACTER COUNTS! program utilizing the Six Pillars of Character and the TEAM approach to impact the youth they serve. This workshop will provide valuable insights and instruction to benefit educators, counselors, or administrators with K-12 schools and other youth serving organizations. Both days listed below are part of the session.
1st meeting: Saturday, January 23 from 10:00am - 12:30pm (CST)
2nd meeting : Saturday, January 30 from 10:00am-12:30pm (CST)
Objectives
• Provide an introduction into what CHARACTER COUNTS! is and why character education/culture development matters.
• Review and discuss roadmap for how to implement CHARACTER COUNTS! in your context (classroom, non-profit, church group, etc.)
