Introduction to Ceramics - Weekend Course (12 hours)

Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th April, 11am - 5.30pm

After the success of our ‘Introduction to Ceramics - Pilot Course’ we’re excited to present an intensive introductory weekend course.

Lead by Ian Henderson, over the course of a weekend participants will learn a range of hand-building techniques such as pinch pots, slab building and coiling, as well as getting a wheel-throwing demonstration.

Based near Edinburgh, Ian is an experienced potter and artist who has exhibited extensively across the UK and beyond. He studied Ceramics and Sculpture at Edinburgh College of Art and works in a variety of media including ceramics, drawing, printmaking, and video.

This course is £150.00 (£140.00 for DCW Members) which includes all tuition time, materials and firing costs. Plus you get to keep what you make! Booking is essential for both members and non-members, please book via the Eventbright link above or via email.
