Is the instructor hearing of deaf?

We have both! However, for beginners we like to start off with an hearing instructor who is native to the language.

Do you have remote intstruction?

Remote learning is available, but the dates and times vary. Please refer to Session II and register for the available sessions

May I bring my child?

We accept children ages 14 and up. Due to the intimate nature of these classes, younger children may be distracting and could hinder your learning experience.

Pets are not allowed, except for service dogs. Please bring verification of service dog status.

Welcome to the Introduction to American Sign Language Session I!

Join us for a fun and interactive in-person event where you can learn the basics of American Sign Language. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to brush up on your skills, this session is perfect for you.

Our event will be held at 704 Grand St, where you'll have the opportunity to practice signing with others and gain a better understanding of this beautiful language.

Each session consist of 6 classes. We meet every Satruday in Bergen-Lafayette Jersey City, our door is the one with TIME2ASL poster in the window.

This session's schedule has a total of six classes: Saturdays, October 18, 2025 and will end November 22, 2025.

This session will be both in person and remote students. Cannot wait to see you!

Each session consist of six (6) classes of basic instruction. Once you complete all six classes you may register for Level II.
