Instructor - Michael Drew Teter

I've been a maker for over 5 years, working with 3D Printing, CNC Machining, Electronics, and Programming. I love making cool things, learning new and interesting skills, and helping others do the same. I find there's nothing quite like getting lost in a project that you find both interesting and challenging.

Class Description

This class is intended for beginners over the age of 14 who want to learn about 3D printing with resin, how to use the Epax E10 3D Printer, the Lychee slicing software, or how to troubleshoot and maintain a resin printer.

Students will gain all the skills they need to print 3D models, post-process finished prints, change out different resins, calibrate proper print settings, troubleshoot common problems, and keep the area clean for other users.

Material Fee

The materials fee for this class is $25. This is separate from the ticket price and is to reimburse the instructor for any tools or materials used in this class. This will be paid once, directly to the instructor at the start of the first class meeting. This instructor accepts payments in cash or through Venmo.

Students Should Bring

Students may bring their own 3D models of something they wish to print. Supported file formats are STL files, OBJ files, and 3MF files. The model will be scaled to fit within a 50mm x 50mm x 100mm box so that we can print everyone's model at once.

A simple 3D model will be supplied if you do not wish to bring your own.

Prerequisites

Students must be 14 years old or older. All students under 18 must be accompanied by and under the direct supervision of a responsible adult.
