Intro to Western Papermaking Workshop

Join us on November 16th, 2025 from 11am - 2pm at the Fresh Press Studio (2116 S Griffith Dr in Champaign)

Intro to Western Papermaking is intended for individuals with little to no paper making experience. We will dive deep into the western style of paper making: pulling sheets with a mould and deckle, pressing, then transferring to our dry box. Our sheets will be made of miscanthus and cotton.

This workshop is a prerequisite for attending Open Studio sessions, which take place on select Wednesdays (see our website/Instagram for more information)
