Running in winter doesn’t have to mean treadmill miles or waiting for spring. It’s an opportunity to build strength, confidence, and joy in the quiet beauty of snowy trails (without the bears!) . This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to help you feel comfortable and capable running outdoors all winter long.
We’ll cover:
- Gear essentials – how to layer for warmth without overheating, traction options for icy terrain, and choosing the right footwear for snow.
- Safety and confidence – reading winter trail conditions, navigating in low light, and staying safe in cold weather.
- Technique tips – adjusting your stride, effort, and mindset for winter terrain.
- Community connection – meet other runners who embrace adventure and accountability even when it’s cold and dark.
Whether you’re brand new to trail running or looking to extend your season, this session will leave you feeling empowered, informed, and ready to run year round.
