Eric Brewer is a Fellow and VP at Google and professor emeritus at UC Berkeley. He has a B.S. in EECS from UC Berkeley and an M.S. and Ph.D. in EECS from MIT. He has led research on scalable servers, sensor networks, security and the CAP theorem, and also spent a decade on technology for developing regions, such as telemedicine in India and electrification in Kenya. He co-founded Inktomi Corporation and helped lead it onto the NASDAQ 100. With President Clinton in 2000, he helped create USA.gov, the official portal of the Federal government. He was awarded the ACM Prize in Computing and membership in the NAE and AAAS.

Amanda Brock is CEO of OpenUK, the UK organization for the business of Open Technology in the UK – open source software, open hardware and open data – with a purpose of UK Leadership and International Collaboration in Open Technology. She’s a Board Member of the Open Source Initiative; appointed member of the Cabinet Office’s Open Standards Board; Member of the British Computer Society Inaugural Influence Board;

Keith Bergelt is the Chief Executive Officer of Open Invention Network (OIN), the largest patent non-aggression community in history, created to support freedom of action in Linux as a key element of open source software. Prior to joining the Open Invention Network, Mr. Bergelt served as president and CEO of two Hedge Funds – Paradox Capital and IPI – formed to unlock the considerable asset value of patents, trademarks and copyrights in middle market companies.
