Intro to Silkscreen

In this one-day workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of

silkscreen printmaking in Red Bird Press’s studio. Using a physical,

hand-made approach to design, each participant will get to create and

print a single-color serigraph! This workshop is ideal for complete

beginners who have little or no experience screen printing, and are

interested in learning about the process.

Topics covered include:

materials and supplies needed for silkscreen, step-by-step tutorials

on screen + image development, how to create a design, best practices

for printing, editioning, and more!
