Intro to Relational Databases and Structuring Data

We’ll start by understanding what data actually means- it’s truly the most important skill- and then we'll explore how relational databases power everything from small business apps to large-scale enterprise systems, using tools like MySQL and PostgreSQL (PSQL) to practice real-world database skills. You'll learn how to design tables, set up relationships between data, and write your first SQL queries. We’ll also demonstrate how relational data can be imported to and analyzed with Excel, bridging the gap between spreadsheets and full-scale database systems.
