Learn to program your own powerful, affordable Raspberry Pi device!

The course begins with an overview of the Raspberry Pi Pico and other low-cost single-board devices. Students will learn why the Pico is so popular while programming their own Raspberry Pi device to blink a light and sound a buzzer. We will end the course talking about the limitless potential the Pico has to communicate with other devices such as motors, screens and sensors of any kind.

Note: you will need to being a computer – everything else will be provided.

About the instructor:

Jon Betz is a photographer and producer specializing in documentary and commercial cinematography, with work ranging from commercial and political work to feature documentaries. He has filmed for National Geographic since 2010 in 25 different countries, and his work has been featured by Smithsonian, Discovery, Animal Planet, among others. Originally trained as a biologist, Jon is passionate about science and the natural world and is an avid scuba diver and outdoorsman.
