This training offers a grounded look at the realities of gambling in North Carolina and beyond. Participants will explore the state’s gambling landscape, gain practical tools to identify and screen for problem gambling and gaming, learn where and how to make effective referrals, and understand the pathway to becoming a Problem Gambling Specialty Provider in NC. Presented by Tiffany Reddick, Treatment & Recovery Coordinator with the North Carolina Problem Gambling Program and Josh Hampton, Certified Peer Support Specialist, Sunrise Community for Recovery and Wellness, the training combines clinical insight and Recovery Professional expertise to equip providers and community professionals to better support individuals and families impacted by gambling harms.
