Intro to Pattern Drafting ( 3-class Series)
Overview
If you have been dreaming about learning how to draft a sewing pattern to suit your unique body, this is the class for you. In this 3-part series, you will learn the fundamentals of pattern drafting. By the end of the course, you will draft and sew a skirt block to use as a base to make many other styles. You will learn about pattern drafting tools, body measurement, and drafting techniques. By the end of class, students will complete a personal body measurement chart.
Class Schedule: Wednesdays ( 1/7, 1/14, 1/21)
Materials Included: Drafting tools, pattern drafting paper, card stock, sewing machine and other sewing tools to use in the studio
What you need to bring: 3 yards of muslin fabric.
Pre-requisite: Be able to use a sewing machine
Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your class, we require a written 48-hr advance notice prior to the 1st class to receive a refund (minus Eventbrite cancellation fee) or receive credit toward another class subject to availability.
