This presentation will cover what Promise objects are in JavaScript and why they're important, by giving a background in synchronous and asynchronous processing. We will discuss callbacks and Promise methods and demo on how to implement a Promise set up when setting up cloud database data retrieval APIs.

WHAT IS KINTONE?
Kintone is a cloud platform for teams with a visual application builder that enables organizations to effectively manage their data and workflows for better collaboration. Kintone excels in three major areas: Creating web databases (called Apps) through an easy-to-use drag and drop interface, developing workflows for those databases with conditions and processes through the GUI, and communication.
On the frontend, you can add JavaScript, CSS, and/or HTML to enhance the UI/UX of an App. This can include features such as maps, buttons, and color-coding. On the backend, you can integrate Kintone with services and devices via REST API to utilize Kintone data anywhere (Example, integrate with a Google Home to have the smart speaker read you your tasks).
