Get started in improv with this welcoming class for beginners (or those willing to have "beginner's mind"). Over six weeks, we'll practice listening, agreement, and basic scene building together in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Have fun, meet new people, and play!

Led by veteran performer and instructor Meghan Kerr, this class creates a safe space to explore creativity and spontaneity. No previous experience needed - just bring your willingness to try something new!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have done acting or theater or comedy before?

Not at all. Complete beginners are welcome!

What if I can't make it to all of the sessions?

We encourage participants to come to all five classes -- they are included in the price -- but if you will be on vacation or otherwise can't make it one week, that's OK!

Can kids participate?

Children 16 and older can participate along with a parent but need their own registration. 18+ can participate solo.

Where is the class?

In a rented space in Old Town Manassas at 9350 Main Street. Participants will be sent details on how to get into the building.

Can I just come watch?

No, only participants are allowed to be present for class. Everyone has to take a chance together!
