Interested in using human-centered design to create change from within public institutions? Join us for a 90-minute interactive workshop to explore the mindsets and methods of HCD, and the unique considerations of doing this work in the public sector. You’ll have the chance to meet with like-minded public servants, and talk with a member of the Civilla team who’s worked on complex HCD projects at the state level.

This will be an interactive event, so come ready to share your experiences, current challenges, and questions.

This workshop is for you if…

You work in a public institution (at any level) and are curious about HCD.
You’re committed to making your institution more customer-centered, but aren’t sure how to get there.
You’re excited about using HCD in your work, but struggling to bring others along. (Tip: invite your skeptics to attend!)

To those with prior exposure to HCD: You are welcome to join if you’re looking for a refresher on the basics.

What to know:

The week prior to the workshop, we’ll send you a 10-minute case study video. We’ll discuss the case study in the workshop, so aim to watch it before the session.
Capacity is limited to allow for meaningful interaction. Please be sure to cancel your registration if your plans change to make room for others to join.
There will be breakouts. Attendees should plan to spend some time in active conversation with other attendees—ideally with cameras on!
