About the instructor:
Lily Herb of Scarborough is a self-taught seamstress and fiber artist. She has a passion for historical silhouettes, materials, and the meditative practice of stitching garments by hand. Spending the past eight years working on farms has given her the opportunity to work closely with the plants and animals that clothe us. With a love for skill sharing and creating community, teaching people the environmentally friendly and self-reliant skill of hand stitching to mend and create their own garments is a natural next step in her artistic journey.
