We will take the mystery out of carving. This is a two session event. Session 1, 3 hour session, we will begin with safety, sharpening your knives / gouges, tool selection and techniques to get you started on plate or hand carving. We will work on your very own wooden shelf setting Leprocan. Session 2, again 3 hours. You will complete your carving and time pemitting, you will begin the painting process. At the end of seesion 2 you will leave with your own, one of a kind carving. All tools, supplies and classroom fees are included. This class is appropriate for beginners, ages 14 and up.
