Move a muscle, change a thought! In this class, you will learn and experience, how to allow and encourage your body to move and release stuck emotional energy. Through easy, creative, fun, expressive moves, breath awareness and sounds, you will be inspired and guided to safely and curiously connect with your body and reignite your relationship with your body. This will help open up the flow of Life Force (Chi, Prana ), giving you a sense of freedom, confidence and renewed energy. All abilities and genders are welcome. No experience necessary. Please come dressed comfortably to allow ease of movement. Class meets the first Sunday of the month from 2-3pm (Please note for July 2019, class will meet on July 14 instead).

This transformational class is led by Astrid Uryson, who has traveled the world learning, teaching and offering art, dance, yoga, movement, and Feng Shui to those looking to elevate and creatively express and manifest more joy, peace, and playfulness into their lives. She has studied cermanics at the Ceramics Art School (Escuela Nacional de Ceramica, Buenos Aires Argentina), Emotive Dance and Improvisation (Maria Fux & Violeta Britos-Buenos Aires Argentina), is a well accomplished and intuitive yoga teacher and has completed her Yoga Teachers training (Honesdale PA. Himalayan International Institute). Additionally, Astrid is a Feng Shui Professional Consultant and has attended many Feng Shui Advanced Trainings (School of Interior Alignment- Dennis Lynn). She brings an organic, approachable and accessible style to her classes and invites play, expression, and empowerment for all students.

This class is held at the gorgeous home of Bloom Yoga Fitness Studios in Southington, CT. This space also includes a Verbena Holistic Spa, salt room, Naturopathic Physician, Physical Therapy, massage therapy and much, much more!
