Intro to Crochet Class: Colorful Coasters
Overview
Curious about crochet but not sure where to begin? Join Madison of Hook Too Hard for a cozy, beginner-friendly crochet workshop at Tansy. Come play with yarn, learn a new skill, and unwind in a relaxed, creative space.
This 2-hour class is designed especially for beginners and includes everything you need to get started. You’ll learn basic crochet stitches, how to read a pattern, and create a set of handmade coasters from start to finish.
No prior experience is required—this workshop is perfect if you’ve never picked up a hook, or if you’ve tried before and want a fresh, supportive introduction. We’ll spend the first half of the session covering crochet fundamentals, then move into guided hands-on time with the goal of completing at least one coaster before the class ends.
Your take-home kit includes:
- Soft cotton yarn (enough for four coasters)
- Crochet hook
- Tiny scissors
- Yarn needle
- Stitch markers
- An original coaster pattern
When purchasing your ticket, choose your color set: brown & blue, yellow & purple, or one of each color.
This is a cozy, low-pressure craft experience—perfect for keeping your hands busy, learning something new, and relaxing after a long day.
