Join us for the Intro to Community Receivership Certification Program, a comprehensive two-day training designed to introduce emerging developers, nonprofit leaders, and community stakeholders to receivership as a powerful blight elimination tool. This introductory certification is your first step to working effectively with the Shelby County Environmental Court and navigating the legal and procedural requirements of the receivership process in Tennessee.
Through real-world insights, case studies, and practical guidance from Courtney Q. Jones, a recognized authority in community receivership, participants will gain a foundational understanding of:
- How receivership addresses blighted and abandoned properties
- The role of the Environmental Court in Shelby County
