Intro to CNC & V-Carve + Design a Mitten Coaster

Looking to get started with CNC routing or need help navigating V-Carve? This beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to start!

Join our expert instructor as we walk through the basics of designing in V-Carve by creating a custom mitten-shaped coaster inspired by the state of Michigan. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop with V-Carve already installed (licensed or free trial) so they can follow along step-by-step. If you’re new to CNC routing, you can download the free V-Carve trial here.

Once the design is complete, we’ll cut the coaster on the Next Wave Shark HD510 and walk through the full process—from digital design to finished piece. No prior experience required!
