About this event

One of the most important aspects of blacksmithing is heating and forging metal. To heat the metal, you’ll need to light the forge and wait for it to reach the desired temperature. Once the metal is hot enough, you can start forging it using a hammer and anvil. It’s important to pay attention to the temperature of the metal and adjust the heat as needed. In this class, we will be making nails and hooks. Get an overview of the smithing trade and answer all questions the student may have.
