Animal Flow is a Quadrupedal Movement Training system, intended to restore the mind-body connection through exploring ground-based movement patterns. It offers an opportunity to introduce our body to new positions like an animal outside of daily sitting, standing, and walking as human beings, and ultimately build up our body's strength and resilience. This class starts with a brief warm-up of gentle whole-body mobilization, followed by activation of the hands and feet with ground contact to facilitate joint stability. The main portion of the class will be to learn several Animal Flow movements to build up a flow for the entire group to perform together at the end. Andy Tseng is a licensed physical therapist and certified level 2 Animal Flow instructor in Austin, TX. He emphasizes moving with mindfulness to help his clients develop longevity for movement through various movement practices.
