It says free...The short answer is no! → It is free to register for the class on Eventbrite.com but the class costs: $100/person. Payments are made onsite in-person.

We ask that students be at a second-grade reading level and able to follow basic instructions. If your student is deaf, a parent or interpreter is warmly welcome to join at no extra cost, ensuring every learner can fully participate and enjoy the experience.

We do not have a max age. We just ask that you are aware of who you are! ?

Is there a quiz or exam?

In the final lesson you will build a pawn with the instructor. Then to get your 10-credits and pass the class you must, on your own, create the rest of the pieces for a chess set. This is only one of each piece.

This beginner-friendly course is perfect for anyone new to CAD and curious about bringing ideas to life. Using TinkerCAD, a free browser-based program by Autodesk, you’ll quickly learn the essentials of 3D modeling in a fun and approachable way.

Together, we’ll work through four hands-on projects that build your skills step by step. For the final challenge, you’ll put your creativity to the test by designing and modeling your very own chess set.

By the end of the course, you’ll not only feel confident using TinkerCAD, but you’ll also earn 10 credits to use toward FundedYouth onsite services.
