By Intrepid Museum

Overview

Military veterans and service members can experience the Intrepid Museum after hours with a behind-the-scenes tour and catered dinner.

Intrepid After Hours: Intrepid in World War II

Join fellow current and former service members for a tour following Intrepid’s role during WWII and the updated exhibits that highlight this period of the aircraft carrier’s service. Mike Fink, author of Intrepid's Fighting Squadron 18: Flying High with Harris' Hellcats, and Museum Specialist Ephraim Kozodoy, will talk about Intrepid’s harrowing service during WWII and the sailors and pilots who served on board. Director of Collections Danielle Swanson will talk about the artifacts that highlight and honor these stories. After the tour, attendees can continue the conversation over a catered dinner.

This program is for current and former service members only. For more information about the Intrepid Museum's programs and resources for current and former service members and their loved ones, please visit intrepidmuseum.org/vets.
