Into the Roots: A Ceremony of Tea, Vision, and Drum
Overview
Join us for a grounding evening of ritual, sound, and inner exploration. Root — an ancient ally for grounding, clearing, and deep insight.
This ceremony invites you to drop into your body, reconnect with your inner knowing, and receive guidance from the unseen realms
THE FLOW
As we move toward the darkest days of winter, this ceremony offers a chance to root deeply, release what is no longer needed, and listen to the quiet voice within. With Burdock as our plant spirit guide, we will journey into the subtler layers of the self to receive clarity, nourishment, and grounding.
What’s Included:
🌿 Burdock Root Tea Ceremony & Plant Spirit Connection
We begin by preparing and sharing a tea ritual with Burdock Root, inviting its grounding, cleansing, and stabilizing energies into our bodies and intentions. You’ll be guided to connect with Burdock’s spirit through presence, breath, and mindful sipping.
🥁 Shamanic Drum Journey
Through the steady rhythm of the drum, you will be guided into a shamanic journey — a meditative state where sound becomes a bridge to the subconscious, the spirit world, and the deeper layers of your intuition. This journey may bring imagery, messages, clarity, or simply a profound sense of grounding.
✨ Intention Setting & Integration Ritual
You’ll be invited to clarify your intention for the journey and then gently integrate your experience afterward through grounding practices, optional journaling prompts, and quiet reflection.
🔥 Group Sharing Circle
You’ll have the opportunity (optional) to share your experience in a supportive and nonjudgmental circle, honoring each person’s insight and healing.
🍂 Closing Ritual of Earth & Sound
We will close by anchoring the energy of the evening with a simple grounding practice and shared breath, sealing the journey with gratitude.
What to Bring:
- A journal and pen (if you want to capture insights)
- A water bottle
- A cushion, blanket, or yoga mat for comfort
- Wear warm, cozy layers
- Optional: a small altar item (stone, root, symbol of grounding, etc.)
