By CSUF grad students

Overview

Fresno State University Master of Arts students present a group exhibition entitled Into the Chaosmos Dec. 4- Jan. 15

Fresno State University Master of Arts students present a group exhibition entitled Into the Chaosmos, on view from December 4, 2025, to January 15, 2026, at the M Street Gallery in the Fresno State Graduate Art Studios, located at 1419 M Street, Fresno, CA.

An opening reception will be held on Thursday, December 4, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. during ArtHop. The exhibition will also be open on Saturday, December 13, from 12:00–4:00 p.m., and again for the January ArtHop on Thursday, January 2, from 5:00–8:00 p.m.

This exhibition presents works by Fresno State University Master of Arts students from the Studio Art Seminar course, who explore art practice–based research as a form of chaosmos—unfolding new forms of thought, experience, theory, and harnessing order and disorder.

Into the Chaosmos—a term from James Joyce, later expanded by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari—captures the coexistence of chaos and cosmos as a generative force.

The exhibition features the work of  Thomas Andrade, Moises Gante, Kambrya Bailey, Jasmine Rodriguez, Tarynn A-Tvo, Brandi Nuse-Villegas, Sherril Royse
