Interwoven: Restore - Stretch and Mobility Event for SOF Spouses
Overview
Interwoven: Restore - Stretch and Mobility Event for SOF Spouses
Special Operations Forces spouses are invited to join The Station Foundation for Interwoven: Restore - Stretch and Mobility, a gentle, restorative movement class designed to release tension, calm the nervous system, and bring balance to both body and mind. During this hour-long session, we’ll focus on improving mobility in the shoulders, hips, and low back before moving into deep, supported stretches that open the hips and lengthen the hamstrings. These movements help regulate the body’s stress response by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, the body’s natural state of rest and recovery. Regular mobility work reduces muscle tension, eases joint discomfort, and improves circulation, allowing oxygen and blood to flow more freely for greater mental clarity and calm. Over time, these practices support physical alignment, increase flexibility, and restore the ease and balance needed for everyday life. Blocks and straps will be provided to support every level of ability. No experience is necessary. Simply come as you are and give yourself permission to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your body.
