In this session, we will explore the interpreter’s critical role in psychoeducational assessments and meetings related to the review of assessment results.
- Participants will gain a clear understanding of how interpreters facilitate communication during cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional testing, as well as during meetings with families.
- Through real examples and guided discussion, we will unpack terminology and ethical boundaries unique to these encounters, highlighting techniques for managing pace, tone, and accuracy.
A minimum of 5 participants are needed to offer the session. Sessions will be recorded and shared with registered participants. A Certificate of Attendance will be provided to those who attend the live session. No refunds.
