Internet of Things (loT) Lab: From Sensor to Cloud
Overview
Join us for “Internet of Things (loT) Lab: From Sensor to Cloud,” an exciting, fast-paced, hands-on workshop that introduces Montgomery College students to the fundamentals of the Internet of Things (IoT) and exposes them to tools and techniques for building IoT-based solutions. Participants will learn how smart devices sense, process, and act on real-world data—gaining practical experience in connecting sensors, analyzing data, and building intelligent prototypes.
This workshop is open only to Montgomery College Students and recommended for MC students with basic Python competency & familiarity with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and Linux/MacOS command-line tools
Presented by Montgomery College’s Science, Engineering, and Technology (SET), University of Maryland, College Park's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and the ignITe Hub.
