Closest park entrances for this location are at158th Street and 181st Street. Enjoy a scenic walk along the Hudson River (about 15 min from either entrance) to meet us at our yellow tent. Google maps offers accurate walking directions to "Beach in Fort Washington Park".
What to wear/bring:
- Your own reusable water bottle!
- Sturdy, closed
-toe shoes
- Long pants
- Comfortable clothing that can get dirty
- Sunscreen
- Optional: Hat
Keep all personal items with you at all times, as we will not have a secure area for bags. For the safety of our staff and volunteers, if on the day of the project you aren't feeling well, STAY HOME! It is not worth the risk to you or to others.
