Internal V. External Cues- Alpine

A day of exploring what Internal and External Cues are, why they are valuable and how they impact change in performance.

Experiences: 

• Clinic leader will facilitate discussion on Internal and External cues
• Clinic leader will help guide participants through exploratory activities using different cues (internal or external) to facilitate prescribed performance
• Participants will use variety of cues within a specific activity and discuss impacts on performance
• Participants will reflect on connecting cues with sensations and outcomes/performances

Learning Outcomes:

By end of clinic, participants will develop deeper understanding of:

• What the difference of Internal and External cues are
• How to use Internal/External cues in their own skiing
• How to utilize cues to affect changes in guests/students
