Are you looking for focused time to practice complex color techniques? This course will introduce students to overlays, focusing on the encalmo process of joining two or more bubbles of color together to form one piece. Class time will be divided between demonstrations and supervised work time. This course is designed for students with basic to intermediate glassblowing skills. Students should have taken several glassblowing classes prior to this course.
*Registration includes access to Student Open Blow on Friday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. during the class run time.
Pet Policy: Visitors are NOT permitted to bring pets onto the WheatonArts campus. Only Service Dogs, as defined by the ADA, are welcome on the grounds.

CANCELATION POLICY: Refunds are eligible up to one week before the beginning of the workshop. After this time, workshop fees are non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment. If cancellation occurs, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment. We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment; otherwise, it will be considered a no-show, except in the case of illness. Are you feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19?
