💃🕺Bmore Urbana hosts Intermediate Salsa & Bachata classes every Tuesday night at the Maryland Athletic Club (MAC) in Harbor East.

Sign up in advance on Eventbrite or pay at the door—walk-ins are welcome!

Classes take place inside MAC’s Energy Studio, a spacious, mirrored studio with great floors, air conditioning, and a professional vibe.


📅 Schedule:

7:30–8:30 PM: Intermediate Salsa (On1 timing)

8:30–9:30 PM: Intermediate Bachata (Urban/Sensual fusion)

These classes are not progressive—you’ll learn a fresh pattern each week with breakdowns to help you understand timing, connection, and technique so you can confidently add it to your social dancing.

No partner is required. Just bring your energy, your curiosity, and your dancing shoes.


🎟️ Cost: $15 per person, per class.

Free 2-hour parking available at 650 Exeter Street (Exeter Street Garage). Follow signs for MAC, take the elevator to Level 2, and validate parking at the front desk.

Where do I park for free 2-hr parking?

Park at Exeter St Garage (650 S Exeter St) for your dance class. Follow "MAC" signs to park near elevators. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor, check in, and proceed to the energy studio. Enjoy 2 hours of free parking.

Do I need to bring a dance partner?

No, you don't need to bring a dance partner. Our classes are designed for individuals, and we rotate partners during lessons to ensure everyone gets the chance to practice.

What shoes do I wear to class?

You should wear comfortable shoes with smooth soles that allow for easy movement and pivoting. Avoid shoes with too much grip, as they may hinder your ability to execute dance steps smoothly. Socks are also acceptable.

What are the prerequisites for Intermediate classes

Salsa prerequisites include the basic step, open/closed position, right turn, left turn, and cross-body lead. Bachata prerequisites, basic step, box step, bolero, haircomb, hammerlock, right/left turn.
