Intermediate Foundational Skills; 8 week session

In this intermediate foundational course you and your dog will continue the building blocks of the previously learned basic foundational skills of name recognition, place, sit, stay, down, impulse control & leave it, loose leash walking, door manners (waiting patiently to be released with an open door), on/off, come when called. Working more on a longline and starting off leash behaviors where able.

For new skills you and your dog will be learning are:- back up- emergency stop- Heel- Focus (look/watch)- greeting manners

Items you will need:- your dogs bag from previous class for items below- Proof of your dogs vaccinations and registration form filled out (will be emailed after signing up through eventbrite)- 25-50 foot longline and 6 foot leash (no retractable leashes, please)- treats, toys - ranging in value and a treat pouch for the treats/ a toy- bed, mat, blanket- your clicker from the basic class.
