Intergeneration is an ode to the Shakur family whose roots run through the streets of New York and Harlem. The Shakur’s whose legacy of liberation work and cultural impact continues to reverberate. This one is for Assata, Afeni ,Mutulu ,Tupac and Kamau Sediki.
Discussing the value of intergenerational connection in liberation and relationships we’ll have a chat with Harlem Peace Walk.

Jesica “Sumbodies Mama” Blandon is a Bronx-Born Powerhouse.
making waves in the world of poetry and performance.
As the Nyourican 2024 Grand slam champ and placing 2nd at the 2024 Women of the World Poetry Slam, Sumbodies Mama ain’t nothing to play with. From being named the 2009 Nuyorican Poets Café’s Youth Poet of The Year to winning the 2010 Brave New Voices International Youth Poetry Slam with Urban Word NYC.
Sumbodies Mama has graced stages alongside luminaries like Savion Glover and has been featured on platforms such as HBO and Ed utopia, captivating audiences with her powerful narratives and dynamic performances.
Sumbodies Mama, is more than a name – she’s a movement that resonates deeply with countless souls.
Bonafide Rojas is a Poet, Musician & has five collections of poetry: Excelsior, Notes On The Return To The Island, Renovatio, When The City Sleeps & Pelo Bueno. He is a Letras Boricuas Mellon Fellow, A BRIO award winner & has appeared on Def Poetry Jam. He’s performed at Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Museum, Philadelphia Museum Of Art, Bowery Ballroom, Konvent Zero Barcelona, Spoken Word Paris, Latinale Berlin, Hafen Lesung Hamburg & Festival De La Palabra Puerto Rico. A nuyorican rock & roller, an avid collector of pop culture & Rojas only wears red socks.
